Leodus is a process for creating support and training for law enforcement officers based on the same principles used by airline pilots.

Leodus is more than training. It’s a carefully crafted process that allows departments and agencies to create and sustain their own training and support systems. The result is the only thing that’s been shown to consistently create positive outcomes: a program owned and controlled by the people who use it, tailored to their specific needs.

This process was adapted from those used by airlines to reduce fatalities 81 fold by former police officer who went on to instruct airline pilots. Airlines didn’t achieve this incredible level of safety through training alone. The key to sustained improvement is a system that sets clear standards, provides people with the resources that make it easy to meet those standards, and allows people to learn from the mistakes of others.

Leodus lays the groundwork for a transformed culture within a department.
